What should I wear?
Having a difficult time choosing what to wear for your photo session. Follow this link to a printable document that will help you make the decision on what is best for you and your family.

Where Are You Located? (Alvin, Texas):

You pick the location (Houston Area). If you have a favorite place you and your family love to visit, or if you want to go to that “special” location where you met that special person, let me know. If you don't have a location in mind, I can give you some suggestions based on where you live.

We've all heard, Things are Bigger in Texas, and that certainly is the case regarding real estate. I was born and raised in Texas and have driven very long distances for everything from daily commutes to and from work, day trips to the beach or weekend getaways. No location is too far for us to travel; however, if the location is more than 30 miles from our home base, there will be a travel fee based on total miles traveled.

For those that want a photo session outside the Houston area, please contact us at TexasDorianPhoto@gmail.com with specifics on dates, time and duration and we'll provide a specific estimate to match your criteria.

Do You Shoot Weddings?
Yes. The first thing to do is contact us for availability; we'll get you on the schedule. We'll meet to discuss specifics of what the bride is looking for. This is your special day and we take our job very seriously. No request is too far fetched. We'll need to meet early so we can establish a plan of action. How Do We Get Started?
-Reserve the Date!

To reserve a date, please click on the “Contact” page and complete the form. Once your request is received you'll be contacted via email to confirm the date(s). Emails will be exchanged between the photographer and the subject to gain information on your expectations. Any and all questions should be answered during this time. We do not believe there are any dumb questions. The biggest mistake you can make is to not ask the question(s) you have.

-The Photo Session

Payment is due at the time of the photo session. We accept Credit Cards, checks and (of course) cash. You can pay using one of these methods at the session location. If you pay by credit card and email will be emailed to you. We'll meet at the pre-determined session location. Your session can span over multiple locations, depending on the photo session package chosen.

-What is the Cost

A full (up to) 2-hour shoot is only $195.00, payable at the time of the shoot. Two hours leaves plenty of time for outfit changes, but if multiple locations are used, time my go beyond this two-hour time-frame. If this does occur, there is a $50.00 per hour charge added to the shoot.

We do offer mini shoots, which consists of 20 minute sessions in one location and you'll get 10 digital downloads.

-Online Proofing

You'll receive an access code to view your photographs online through a private album. You'll be asked to select a set number of photos (based on session package). Once your selection has been made, all images will be removed from the site and those selected images will be “polished up” and re-loaded to a public album. It is at this time, you will have the option to order prints and merchandise, or purchase and download the copyrighted files digitally.

-Your Photos/Products

Your photos and products should arrive at your mailing address approximately two-three weeks after you order them from our professional lab.

Our goal is to make your experience as smooth as possible from your first contact through receiving the final prints and/or digital images.

What if I need to reschedule?
If you have to reschedule due to illness or weather on the day of your session then please contact us the day before your session. Although there is no penalty for cancelling or rescheduling a sessions, I do ask that you allow enough time that other clients can schedule if available.

How do you accept payment?
For photo sessions, other than weddings, we accept credit cards, checks, or cash at the time of the photo-session. If you prefer to make payment with a credit card, please request this prior to your session so that we can send you an invoice via email to allow payment the day before your session.

For weddings, a 25-percent, non-refundable retainer is required at the time of appointment (this is required in order to keep your spot reserved). The remaining 75-percent is due the day before the event.

Model Release:
A model release will be presented for signature at the photo session. This allows TexasDorian Photo to post your photographs on the TexasDorian Photo website and Social Media pages.

Why do some galleries have a black or white mat around the photo?

The short answer is because we want you to have the best finished product possible and if we don't do this, you may loose part of your image when you order prints, depending on what print size you choose. For a more detailed explanation, read our blog post here.
